With clean and disinfected hands, place the mask on the face, adjusting it perfectly without being annoying. It should cover the nose and mouth, so that the lower part is under the chin and the upper part can be adjusted to the nose. Accommodate elastic straps comfortably. When removing it, never touch the outside. It is enough to remove the elastic straps with caution.
For reasons of comfort and hygiene, it is recommended not to use the mask for a time longer than 8 hours . In case it gets damp or deteriorates due to use, it is recommended to replace it with another one.
The mask should be washed every time it gets dirty, wet, or cannot be placed properly on the face.
The mask should not be used if it is dirty or wet.
If it is to be stored temporarily, contact with any surface should be avoided.
It should also not be placed in a waiting position on the forehead or under the chin during and after use.
The hygienic mask does not exempt the user from the application of barrier gestures complemented by the social distancing measures that are essential in accordance with the recommendations indicated by the Ministry of Health.
Washing and drying the mask
Contact between a dirty mask (to be washed) and clean clothing should be avoided.
The person in charge of the wash must protect themselves to handle the dirty masks.
It is recommended to wash the mask at a temperature of 60 ° C with neutral soap.
Products that can degrade or damage the materials and that diminish their protective capacity should not be used.
It is recommended that the mask dry completely within 2 hours after washing.
It should not be dried or sanitized with a microwave oven or tumble dryer.
Both during drying and subsequent storage of the mask, environments in which the mask can become contaminated again should be avoided.
Procedure to dispose of the mask
To reduce the risks of using these masks, it should be noted that once the maximum number of washes (30 washes) has been exceeded, it should be discarded.
The masks must be disposed of in a container with a plastic bag. It is recommended to use a double bag to preserve the contents of the first bag in case of tearing of the outer bag.
