On October 22 , on the occasion of the International Day Against Climate Change (October 24), Biotherm and Perfume's Club put our grain of sand and carried out a day of beach cleaning .
It was an event organized by the La Caixa Foundation and the Palma Aquarium Foundation , who were in charge of managing the volunteers, weighing the collected rubbish and its subsequent recycling. With the support of Perfume's Club, Biotherm and Los40 principals .
Biotherm is fully committed to protecting the Earth's oceans through the Water Lovers platform. Being aware of the environmental impact of climate change, especially in terms of changes that threaten the marine environment, such as ocean warming and acidification, the brand has worked to apply an ocean-friendly approach in the development of their products.
More than 100 volunteers united their desire to achieve a more protected planet in a 2-hour day. The meeting point was Playa del Toro (Ses Penyes Rotges) in Mallorca, which is 200 meters long and 30 meters wide. An apparently clean beach, but the garbage reaches every corner. We organized ourselves in groups to be able to reach all corners, there are those who were in charge of digging up the garbage from the sand or those who searched among the rocks, but no matter where you looked there was always something to collect.
What did we collect?
After the talk on the rescue of injured marine animals, we counted everything we collected, a total of 67 kg of waste, of which we highlight:
- 23 kg of glass - 15.2 kg of plastics - 13.5 kg of reject garbage - 15 kg of waste and various materials

When we finished the day and as a token of gratitude, Biotherm gave all the attendees a detail of their products so that they could try them and feel part of brands committed to the environment.
