Here are some tips and tricks to make applying eyeliner simple, precise, and symmetrical:
On the clean, toned skin of the upper eyelid, apply an eye base, or if not, translucent powder, to eliminate excess oil from the area.
If you are going to apply eyeshadow, apply it before the eyeliner.
Avoid applying eyeliner in a single stroke to ensure a precise line. Draw small dots along your upper lash line, keeping the same amount of space between them.
Next, using short, quick strokes, join these dots into a thin line. If there's any space between the eyeliner and your lashes, fill it in to soften it.
Draw the outer edge of your lashes to create a continuation of your lash line. This can be more pronounced or subtle depending on the style you're going for.
Finally, to deepen your look and finish your makeup, apply mascara.

Fantastic eyeliner
This brown eyeliner makes my eyes more expressive, but not harsh. It is easy to apply with the fine brush. Unlike many liquid eyeliners in pencil form, this eyeliner does not dry out quickly. That is why I can use it for a very long time. Too bad that this eyeliner (I think) is no longer available at Guerlain. No longer available at regular perfumeries.
